Nicholas Taplin has been recording underground music, both in the studio and live, for 18 years. He is also an avid photographer, and has a record label (also called Post-Consumer). For the last two years he has been doing the most extensive high quality video documentation of Oakland underground (mostly rock) music. This project is the natural evolution of Nicholas’ sound and visual skills/interests, and it thrills him utterly. Oakland is also the best home he’s ever had.
